    The Chinese Revolution was fought between CCP and the PRC. The war was fought between communists and nationalists. The United States held ties with with the PRC.

    The Korean War began with North Korea invading South Korea. The war was fought between the Democratic Peoples Republic and the Republic of Korea.

    President Truman fired MacArthur because he made comments which contradicted policies of the administration. MacArthur was relieved of his duties because he wanted to keep attacking and destroying communist countries, whereas the government wanted to take a much calmer plan of action.
