Move to America
Don Fredrickson is a man that works from england who works as anything he can find a job as. He had some things that he had happen in England to him that is driving him to America. He took as few items as possible and the clothes on his back. The things he took with him was a box filled with silver sporks that he plans to sell in America to make some money. He gets to America by ferry. -
On the way
He got on the ferry that would take him to try and acheive his American Dream of making big money in America. On the ferry he encountered a nice woman who was going to america for the same reason and actually came from the same part of great brittain. -
Work
Found a small job working in a small shop when he arrived, had a housing area provided by his employer. He met his employer when he was fresh of the boat, and the man sesemed very kind, and curious about his history. -
Time to find a home
After working for a while he decided that it was time to find a new area for a house such of the land being given away for free in some other states, because of the Homestead Act that had recently been passed -
Claimed
Once arriving at the territory and began looking to claim the area for his home and small farm. Once claimed he began chopping trees and also gathering necissary materials for his home. -
Time to farm
He now finished his home and is able to start the farming. there were cows and some other animals that he could build a farn for. He began faming ad has some crops such as wheat, and corrots.
