His original voice for indipendance was through a series of anonymous letters. in the early 70s, he began voicing the opinion that only violence could solve the problem with great britian. -

Alex de Toocqueville was a french man who studied the american system of government. He agreed with it, and based five principles on it. -
John Witherspoon
He was originally a religious man, but entered Govt. after a period of time. He ended up becoming one of hte most inffluential people in Congress. -
Fifth Ammendment.
This ammendment states that you cannot have your property taken without due compensation, You cannot be tried for a crime more than once. You cannot be made to incriminate yourself, and due process must be followed to incriminate you.
