    Sports 1915
    Basketball: First team started, losing only 5 games in the season
    Baseball: First team started off strong, no records recorded.
  • Red Letter Year

    Four major sports include: football, basketball, baseball, and track.
    Football was the first sport-Composite score: 90-20, Davis.
    Basketball: entered into the league with Ogden High, Weber Stake Academy, South Cache High, And Box Elder. Coming out in 3rd.
    Track: New phase sport and started out slow but built up the team. Quarter mile track built.
    Baseball: The team was in danger of no longer being a sport at the school. Luckily, supporters were able to save it.
    No championships taken this year.
  • 1916-17 Sports

    Football: Became one of the fastest high school football teams in the state. Tied with Ogden for the championship. Though they were beaten, the record will be remembered. Seasons results: won five games, lost only two.
    Basketball: Best team to represent the school in it's field of athletics. Lost only two games to Boxelder High, but winning nine.
  • 1917-18 Sports

    No championships in any sports. Hard year for the teams.
    Basketball won two out of five games.
  • 1918-19 Sports

    No football this year do to the school starting so late.
    Basketball: Losing only two games to the two strongest teams in the state. Best year yet with the team.
    No other sports played do to early closing.
  • 1919-20 Sports

    Football, basketball, and basbeall all played in the year again.
    Basketball: Finally one their first State Championship in March 1920 with Coach Warmer. Retired from the school at the end of the year.
    Football:Due to late opening, the team didn't have any early training. The team faced seven teams, losing to six of them.
    No records for baseball and track.
  • 1920-21 Sports

    Due to basketball winning the championship, Davis County High School has been recognized, athletically, as one of the leading high schools in the state.
    Football: Won six out of eight games and ranked third in the divison.
    Basketball: Lost last two games in division and was ranked second.
    Baseball and track have no records in yearbook.
  • 1921-22 Sports

    Football: Starting the season late with very few experienced players, the team ended up end the season as one of the best in the state.
    Basketball: No member from last years tournament team were there this year, making the team made of juniors. Winning 50 percent of their games.
  • 1922-23 Sports

    Football: More team members than ever before joined. A long with larger crowds attending the games. Larger number of games were also played during the season.
    Baseball: Won two, lost one. Weber was beaten by Box Elder, which gave Davis the best claim to a championship of any school in this part of the state.
    Basketball: Won three, lost 10/
    Track: Participated in four meets, two held at Davis. Davis was beaten in these meets. Though some runners did win in certain divisons.
  • 1923-24 Sports

    Football: had a late start, but ended the season strong. Gained more school support at each game. Season was found successful.
    Basketball: Developed new methods in playing the game to keep up the reputation of strongest team and sport in the school. Winning more games than ever.
    Not able to enter track meets due to earlier closings than other schools.
  • 1924-25 Sports

    1924-25 Sports
    Football: Pulled off a great season with their clever passes and bold attacks.
    Basketball: Proved their true ability by defeating the "Mutes" by an overwhelming score.
    Baseball and track just beginning, no record.
  • 1925-26 Sports

    Football: Though they didn't have the strongest team this year, they showed they will never give up till the last second. Playing seven games against varoius high schools, all resulting in losses.
    Track: Claimed its greatest feat of its kind in Utah track history. The star of the track team was Jack Burton. Made a new state record of 50 2/5 in the 440-yard dash.
    Basketball: No state championship, but many new promising players were made. Winning more than losing once again.
  • 1926-27

    Football: Most successful year yet of the team. Winning three out of seven games. But aquiaring more skills than ever before. Taking state that year.
    Basketball: Won six out of 13 games.
  • 1927-28 Sports

    1927-28 Sports
    Football: another great year for the Brown and Gold warriors. Becoming stronger and more techniqued.
    Basketball: Unusual struggling year. Putting them in third in the division. Winning 8 out of 12 games.
    Track: Best year for the track, actually being able to compete in the meets.
  • 1928-29 Sports

    Football: Won more games than other games have won in years. Losing only one game.
    Basketball: Did not win the divisional honors this year. For the first time Box Elder beat Davis on Box Elder's floor.
    Track: Won second place at the Logan meet.
  • 1932-33 Sports

    Football: winning all but one game. Played against East High, West High, Granite, and Jordan.
    Basketball: Played West High, East High, Granite, and South High. Losing two games to West and South.
    Track: Made it to the State meet in Salt Lake City.
    Baseball and Tennis have no records.
    Boxing, diving, and archery become new sports.
  • 1937-38 Sports

    Football: Won all eight games played this year.
    Basketball: Won nine out of ten games.
    Track: Won the regional meet with 77 points.
    Baseball: Won two out of five games.
    Boxing: Placed second in Utah.
    Wrestling: Won the Utah High School Championship.
  • 1942-43 Sports

    Football: Won 8 out of 9 games. Taking Regionals.
    Basketball: Won 8 out of 10 games.
    Tennis: Won Regionals II Championship and Utah Sate Doubles championship.
    Wrestling: Only able to have two meets, losing in both.
  • 1947-48 Sports

    Football: Won West, Ogden, Granite, South, and Carbon. Losing to Jordan.
    Basketball: won third in Honors in the Utah State High School Class "A" basketball tournament.
    Baseball: runner-up for 1947 state title.
  • 1952-53 Sports

    Football: Lost 2 games out of 10.
    Basketball: Pre-season won 4 out of 8 games. Season won 3 out of 10 games.
