When Hannah gets teleported back into The Holocaust period, she turns into a completely different person. Hannah is now Chaya.

At one point, people made an effort to save Jews. Zofia Kossak-Szczucka made an organization called Provisional Committee to Aid Jews to save Jews and children.

Hannah gets sent back into time randomly during a feast to relive the experience of The Holocaust and see what everyone else had to encounter.

Hannah (now Chaya) meets Rivka at the Concentration camp. Rivka teaches her how to be able to survive while at the camp and gives her tips and tricks.

Chaya and Rivka attempt to escape the camp but their plan gets messed up due to someone else trying to escape, but unfortunately getting caught. Once they've returned to their chambers they find out someone was able to escape after all.

Rivka was about to be placed into a gas oven but instead, Chaya decides to take her place and go in herself. As Chaya gets put inside, she gets teleported back into the present time and realizes that the person whom she was saving, was her Aunt Eva.

Shmuel and Fayge had a wedding and while on the way to the synagogue, they met the Nazis. The Nazis took everyone from the wedding and continued to take them to concentration camps. However, Chaya was already aware of what was going on.

When Shmuel makes an attempt to escape from the Concentration Camp, he gets caught and executed. Meanwhile, Yitzchak is able to get away.

While Shmuel and Fayge are at the execution, they both get executed after both being excited to see one another.

The Warsaw Uprising was a major military endeavor of the Polish resistance movement during the time of World War II.

The Soviet was able to capture Warsaw in January 1945. Also, The German forces were driven from Poland, and Poland's borders were set by the post-war Potsdam Conference. Finally, Poland lost territory due to the Soviet Union but was able to gain some from Germany.
