Escaped Siberia
Stalin was able to escape from Siberia two years later. After escaping he rejoined the Marxist movement in underground Tpilisi. The movement then split into two factions and Stalin identified with the Bolsheviks. (Gale Research 394) -

Lenin valued and appreciated Stalin's capabilities as a politician, a troubleshooter, and as a hatchet man. So, Stalin was made secretary general, a very high position, by Lenin. Joseph Stalin died in Moscow at the age of 74 from a massive heart attack. It was a great relief to many when he died. However, he is still remembered today as the man who helped save Russia from Nazi domination. But, he is also known as a mass murderer that is responsible for over 8 million deaths of his own people. When America won the space race and got to the moon first the whole world was watching. This was a very important event, because it was the first time a man had walked on the moon. 9/11 is a very significant event in history. After 9/11 many things were changed including immigration laws in the US. Getting visas and coming into the country was made much harder.
