Dynamo Kiev VS Flakelf
Dynamo Kiev took to the field against the unbeaten Luftwaffe team of Flakelf. The match was played in front of a stadium of entirely German soldiers. No Ukranians were allowed to even be near the stadium on the day.The Dynamo Kiev players were warned before the match. Lose and they would be spared. Win and face execution.Kiev won 3-2. -
Rematch against FC Start and Flakelf
There was a "friendly" rematch. In spite of the warnings FC start again defeated the German team - for the last time. Most of the Ukrainian team members were arrested and executed in Babyn Yar, but they are not forgotten. There is a monument to them in Kiev and their heroism is said to have inspired the film Escape to Victory. -
FC Start Players Die
They go to a consentration camp and have to suffer the consinquences. Then they get killed for what they have done. -

WWII ends and Germany, Nazi, and Japan are defeated.
