PRE-HISTORIC AGE: PAPYRUS IN EGYPT (2500BC)

Papyrus is a writing material made from the papyrus plant, a reed which grows in the marshy areas around the Nile river. It was invented by the ancient Egyptians, and used as a writing material as 3,000 BC in ancient Egypt, and continued to be used to some extent until around 1 100 AD. I believe that papyrus was very useful in ancient Egypt as it serves as a writing device that keeps them intact and updated to information. They were wise on making this pre-historic device.

A telephone is an instrument designed for the simultaneous transmission and reception of the human voice, allowing them to exchange ideas and information. It was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. It was created in both Canada and the United States. ELECTRONIC AGE: TELEVISION (1941)

Television (TV) is the electronic delivery of moving images and sound from a source to a receiver. It extend the senses of vision and hearing beyond the limits of physical distance. It was first successfully demonstrated in San Francisco on September 7, 1927, and was designed by Philo Taylor Farnsworth. In my perspective, the invention of television broadly patronaged the sharing of information. It also provides entertainment and education to the people, as it seems cool.

    DIGITAL AGE: SMARTPHONES (1992)

Smartphone is a mobile phone that performs many of the functions of a computer, typically having a touchscreen interface, internet access, and an operating system capable of running downloaded applications. It was invented by the Simon Personal Communicator (or just IBM Simon) in 1992 at the COMDEX computer industry trade show. It seems to me that the creation of smartphones allow individuals to communicate to one another privately. It allows more opportunity to give and receive information.
