  • Pay Phone

    I remember seeing pay phones in certain stores, and even putting quarters in them to make a phone call home with my mom or dad. Being that there was no cell phones this was the only way to communicate with someone who was at home once we left

  • My parent's get pagers

    Pagers were an easier means of getting in contact with someone who was not with you. Calling the pager would alert the person and then they could use a pay phone to return the call.

  • First experience using a computer

    Computers were relatively new. In school, we used them mostly to take accelerated reader tests.

  • Dial Up Internet used to play games

    Used the dial up internet by plugging an internet chord into the phone line and waiting for it to dial up.

  • Got a computer at home, starting using computer labs in school

    With the evolution of the internet I began to use the computer for learning games such as multiplication and states and capitals. At home, I was able to play games.

    Got an apple watch that I could use to answer phone calls, view text message, and access certain apps
