    Daniel Dennett (28 Mar 1942 - Present) American philosopher, author, and cognitive scientist Daniel Dennett is best known for his work in the philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, and philosophy of biology. His work has had a significant impact on artificial intelligence, cognitive science, evolutionary psychology, and the philosophy of mind. He is currently the Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University and the Co-Director of the Center for Cognitive Studies.
