It happened because the south favored slavery while the north did not. Also because the south didnt like the president and almost started its own country called the Confederate States of America. -

The main idea of the mexican Revolution was to overthrow the Diez Regime but after the leader was overthrown, people did not like the knew leader and threw him out. They did that with the next three leaders after him too. More than one million people died in it and 300,000 more people died in the flu epidemic during it. -
