Crabbe is in a toronto hospital and he has a therapist there called Dr Browne and crabbe is keeping a journal because he wants to keep his memories.

Crabbe says that he has a bad life and that his parents have their own expectations for him and he doesnt like it. and he doesnt have a say what he wants to do in his life

When crabbe knows that he wants to leave he gets all the stuff ready and while he does that he does little things like crashing the light bulb so no one will notice stuff is missing.

Crabbes gym teacher busts crabbe for having alcohol in his locker at school. this is important because this shows that he is an alcoholic and likes alcochol.

Crabbe packs for his departure and is ready to go but when he is about to leave his parents come home early and delay him so he waits a bit and then he is off!

Crabbe drives a long way to a shore line and since he doesnt want to be seen he has to stay overnight and then leave by canoe the next day.

After the over nighter he leaves the next morning by canoe and then has has to portage over land until he reaches water again and he is off for another canoe ride.

When crabbe stays the 2nd night he leaves food all around his campsite and a bear attacks him and scratches him up. This is important because he shows fear.

When crabbe leaves with the canoe, after a while of canoeing he sees a waterfall up ahead and he falls off and gets knocked out for a while. and after he sees a beautiful woman.

After crabbe falls off of the waterfall he wakes up to woman standing above him that he thinks is a beauty.

While at camp crabbe is asked to get something from a pack, but not knowing crabbe goes into the wrong pack and mary yells at him because she has private stuff in it

Since crabbe doesnt know how to use a compass or a map mary gives crabbe a set of instructions and a compass and crabbe has to get to a certain spot using only a couple things without marys help.

Since mary finds out about crabbes silent sam addiction and noticing that he is going through withdrawl she gives him her fathers pipe so when ever he wants to drink, he smokes to relieve stress.

Crabbe and mary have been with eachother for a while now and crabbe finally tells mary that he has very strong feelings for her and that he loves her

Mary admits that she loves crabbe too but not as in romance but as in friendship and he says he is ok with this. And she tells crabbe that she thinks its time for him to go back home and leave the campsite.

Marys plan is to go to a hunt camp but when she gets there she realizes someone is in the camp so they go ahead anyways and mary gets caught and she gets taken inside and raped.

After they go to the hunt camp and she gets raped so crabbe takes mary and runs away hoping the men inside wont follow them. the next day they set up a fire and they look around for wood but when crabbe comes back mary is dead on the ground so he cremates her.

When crabbe gets back to camp he cant help but go into marys pack with her private stuff and he finds out that she unplugged her husband from life support because she cant handle it anymore.

Since Mary is dead crabbe decides to pack up all of his stuff and head home so he heads in the direction of ithaca camp.

During crabbes journey back home he gets really cold and gets frostbite and then he goes to a road where a big transport truck driver picks him up and takes him to the hospital.

When the truck driver takes crabbe to the hospital he wakes up to having some of his fingers amputated and in intense pain.

After crabbe is taken to the hospital the nurse calls his parents and he has to talk to his parents in a room with just them.
