    The Spanish Flu, a very contagious and deadly virus, appeared on virtually every continent during the early 1900s. The first reported case took place in Kansas and quickly spread all over the U.S. It then spread to basically all of Europe, Russia, China, India, and Africa. There were three distinct waves of the flu, resulting in a lot of deaths of both those infected and those who volunteered to help the infected at their own risk.
