  • New York

    New York is one of the original thirteen colonies. They are the home to Ellis Island, where many immigrants landed on when immigrating to the US
  • Boston Tea Party

    Angry American colonists used this as a protest against "Taxation without representation". They believed they were being unfairly taxed by England, and dumped hundreds of pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor as protest, due to tea being something that was being taxed unfairly.
  • First Shot

    In Lexington Mass, the first shot of the Revolutionary War was taken, officially starting the war
  • War Begins

    The war between the US colonies and England happens, which was a war for the US to gain its independence
  • Bunker Hill

    The US and England faced off in the Battle of Bunker Hill, which England ultimately won
  • Washington Crosses the Delaware

    George Washington, who ended up being the first president, executed a surprise attack on the British on Christmas of 1776.
  • Treaty of Paris

    This treaty ultimately ended the Revolutionary War
  • Constitution Signed

    New Hampshire becomes the ninth state to sign the United States Constitution, making it official.
