    English writer who supported the Glorious Revolution. He argued that peole were born, equal, and idependent. Also, government cant take our natural rights to life, liberty, and property.

    French writer whom developed the idea about diving the branches of government into different parts to balance each other so one part can become too strong or threaten individual rights. He made up the "Seperation of Power".

    Jean-Jacques Rousseau
    French philopher, whom wrote in The Social Contract. He pulished in 1762, that "man is born free, yet everywhere he is found in chains". Rousseau argued that people alone had the right to determine how they should be governed.
