  • Plankalkul

    Plankalkul was originally designed for engineering purposes. it was created by Konrad Zuse.
  • Fortran

    Fortran was originally named FORTRAN, it wa slater renamed. This programming language was made by a team made by IBM. The members of the team were:Richard Goldberg, Sheldon F. Best, Harlan Herrick, Peter Sheridan, Roy Nutt, Robert Nelson, Irving Ziller, Lois Haibt, and David Sayre.
  • MATH-MATIC

    Charles Katz was the leader of the group that created MATH-MATIC. This was an improve version of FORTRAN.
  • Lisp

    The Lisp computer langauge is the second oldest computer langauge in the world and is still being used worldwide. It was created originally for mathematical notation on computers. The langauge was created by John McCarthy.
  • COBOL

    COBOL (Common Business-Oriented Language) is one of the oldest programming language it was desgined by Grace Hopper. This was desgined to be used primarily in the business industry.
  • RPG

    RPG is a a high-level programming langauge. It was created by IBM. the main purpose for the RPG was business applications.
  • BASIC

    BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) was designed by John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz.This language was written so that non science students could have access to computers.
  • Logo

    This was originally used in education and constructive teaching. The creator of Logo is Daniel G. Bobrow, Wally Feurzeig, Seymour Papert and Cynthia Solomon.

    B programming language was the forerunner of C. B was develeoped by Ken Thompson and had a little help from Dennis Ritchie. This language was used in embedded systems.

    Pascal is a procedural prgramming langauge. Pascal was designed by Niklaus Wirth. The main purpose of Pascal was to encourage good programming practices.

    C is a general purpose programming language. it was developed by Dennis Ritchie. The main reason for creating C was to create a system software.

    This was a general purpose functional programming language, it was created by Robin Milner and others.
  • SQL

    SQL (Structured Query Langauge) this was created for managing data in relational database management systems. It is a special purpose programming language. It was created by Donald D. Chamberlin and Raymond F. Boyce.
  • C++

    C++ was created in 1983. it was created by Bjarne Stroustrup. C++ is compromised of both high and low level language. It was created mainly for making operating system platforms.
  • ADA

    ADA was created by a team led by Jean Ichbiah. the team was hired by the United States Department of Defence. The language was named after Ada Lovelace, the first programmer. It was basically used to code information which was being passed on, information that was sensitive.
  • Python

    Python is a general purpose high level programming langauge and it was created to make a new language that was easy to read. the syntax of python is original and easily read. It was created by Guido van Rossum.
  • Visual Basic

    Visual Basic was designed so it was easy to learn and to use. It is a 3rd generation event-driven programming langauge and an integrated developement environment. This programming language was created by Microsoft.
  • Embarcadero Delphi

    Embarcadero Delphi's main architect was Anders Hejlsberg. This was made mainly for console, desktop graphical, web, and mobile applications.
  • Java

    Java is a generalpurpose language. It was made in a way that it could be used on any machine without recompiling it, its early uses were in television and mini computers. The creators of this langauge are: James Gosling, Mike Sheridan, and Patrick Naughton.
  • JavaScript

    JavaScript is an open scource origramming language which was used in browsers to provide enhanced user interface and dynamic websites. This programming language was created by: Brendan Eich while he was working for Netscape.
  • PHP

    PHP was created by Rasmus Lerdorf. The language was created to design dynamic web pages.
