Tita is very upset that Pedro is marrying her sister and cries a lot. Her tears get into the cake mix which causes Nacha to force Tita to leave.

After people eat the cake they start to get a nostalgic feeling. They all start vomiting, and they have to postpone the wedding.

Pedro tells Tita that he loves her, and that he is only marrying Rosaura to be close to her. Tita is overwhelmed with happiness.
