Marshall. It created an economic miracle in Western Europe and economic boom in the United States.

    Berlin Blockade/Airlift

    During the multinational occupation, the Soviet Union blocked the Western Allies' railway, road, and canal access to the sectors of Berlin under Western control but the western powers instituted an airlift that lasted nearly a year and delivered vital supplies and relief to West Berlin. The Berlin Blockade was the one of the first major international crises of the Cold War and a tremendous Cold War victory for the United States.
