    Churchil had stated that the Russians have cut off Eastern-Europe from the Western-World and imposed communism on them.

    This started with conflict with both super powers on both sides.This the beginning of some conflicts between the Americans and the USSR.

    The Korean war had ended and more tension had builded up between Russia and America.

    The Russians didn't trust anyone so they had created the KGB to seek out the traiters/spies.

    Now that Cuba had been taken over by Fidel Castro, America would not be able to relax knowing that Cuba is situated only 90 miles away. If Castro decides to team up with China or Russia, America would have to be very cautious knowing that missile launches could happen.

    This shows how much the Americans didn't trust Castro and that if they don't overthrow him, dangers could be lurking in the near future. This failed invasion strengthened ties between the USSR and Cuba which led to the Cuban missile crisis.

    This represented the beginning of the end of the Cold War. Once the wall was fallen both East and West Germany were reunited.
