In the previous lesson we made a PowerPoint about how the cloud has progressed since its creation. We went into detail about every stage of the evolution and then wrote about why people and businesses should migrate to the cloud rather than using their own servers for storage of data.

Today we leant about virtualisation with cloud computing. We completed 3 different exercises about the different providers of cloud services, the many factors of virtualisation, what each option has to offer and why virtualisation is the key to cloud computing.

Last lesson we researched the virtualisation of cloud storage and the as a service modules to further understand them all.

In todays lesson I used Cisco Packet Tracer to create a network that connects a local area using ethernet, switches, routers and desktop computers. Then I created a word document with the descriptions of PuTTY, HyperTerminal and Tera Term.
