    American Revolution
    The American revolution was a conflict between Great Britain and the 13 colonies. The revolution began once the 13 North American colonies declared independence from Great Britain. The war lasted for about 8 years and ended with the 13 colonies victorious. The 13 colonies soon became the United States of American.

    The Bill of Rights is the first 10 amendments of the Constitution. It was approved by congress on September 25 1789, and sent to the states for ratification. The Bill of Rights was a direct result of the American Revolution. Once the US had one the war they created the constitution and bill of rights to serve as our bases of federal government.

    The First Amendment states that all US citizens have the freedom of speech, press, assembly, petition, and religion. The first Amendment is included in the bill of rights and was ratified by the last necessary state on December 15 1791. This amendment allowed people in the US to think freely, and let them be creative.

    John F. Kennedy's presidency started January 20th 1961. He was a big believer in human’s freedom and power. In his 1961 inaugural speech he states "We observe today not a victory of party but a celebration of freedom". He gave many people hope and belief that they could accomplish anything. He also said, “We choose to go to the moon in this decade". This is an example of how John F. Kennedy inspired people to fulfill their dreams.

    NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. At the time of John F. Kennedy's presidency NASA was the company who was trying to accomplish his dream of putting a man on the moon. JFK and NASA worked together to accomplish both their goals.

    Apollo 11 is the space mission where the United States was the first country in the world to send a group of men to the moon. NASA sent Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to explore the moon. This mission occurred July 20th 1969.
