A speech written and proclaimed by former President Abraham Lncoln. One of the largest known speeches in America. Delivered four mounths after the Union victory at Gettysburg. -

Lincoln won by over 400,000 popular votes, Easily won the electoral majority. 70% Of the soldiers in the army voted for him. -
13th Admendment
The 13th Admendment offically abolished slavery in the United States. It was passed by Congress on April 8th, 1865. Later ratified by Congress on December 6th, 1865. -
Lincoln Assassination.
On that faithful night, Lincoln was without his main bodygaurd and abandon by his other bodyguard for a moment. At that time, approximately 10:13 pm, President Lincoln was shot in the back of the head, point-blank, by John Wilkes Booth. Seriously wounded, Lincoln passed the next day.
