    This battle of the Civil War was very naval based. A bad time for the south, but the north was very successful. The commanders for the north were David Farragut while the southern commander was Major General Mansfield Lovell. The north won.

    This was aparently the bloodiest battle in American History. McClellan was the commander for the north and Robert E. Lee was the commander for the south. This battle was said to be a tie but the north won by a very little bit.
