    It all started on December 1st when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white male. Rosa was arrested on the spot and soon started the boycott for the Montgomery Bus.
    On December 2nd there was a launch of a one day boycott held for Rosa Parks
    December 5th the boycott started and the whole African American community participated that was from Montgomery

    On this day a 15 year old girl was arrested for not allowing a white passenger to take her seat. The 15 year old girl Claudette Colvin was charged for violating segregation laws, assault, and disordely conduct.

    On October 21st an 18-year-old girl was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white bus driver. The 18-year-old girl was Mary Louise Smith.

    Bus Segregation was ruled unconstitutional by the federal district court

    Martin Luther King Jr. was indicted as the boycott leader and was at risk of being served more than a year in jail or pay five hundred dollars.

    The districts courts ruling was upheld by the supreme court and turned down the laws regarding racial segregation on buses.

    The day after the Montgomery public buses started to desegregate and the boycott ends

    The boycott of the Montgomery Bus raised Martin Luther King Jr. fame which launched the huge Civil Rights Movement across America.
