    Charles Darwin joined Captain FitzRoy on the HMS Beagle!

    He was in Cape Verde Islands. This is when he made his first observations.

    Darwin observes giant fossils. He says he is really good at observing them!! he said they are recent fossils.

    They come across some native people that the Captain had brought to England on a previous voyage. FitzRoy tries to start a Christian misson but fails.

  • Nautral Disasters

    Darwin sees Mount Osomo errupt while on the island of Chiloe. He also expierences the earthquake in the wood near Valdivia. It affected him tremendously.

  • Coral

    Darwin studies coral reefs growing around the Cocos island.

  • Creatures

    He discovers many incredible creatures in Bania and Pernambuco.

  • HOME

    Charles darwin reaches home!! He said the voyage was so delightful!!
