The Beagle Voyage
Darwin joined the HMS Beagle as a naturalist on its voyage to South America. Originally a two-year expedition, it became a five-year adventure for the young naturalist. On the Origin of Species is Published
Darwin's theory of natural selection is finally published and released to the public. Copies of his word sold out instantly and by the time of his death, the theory of evolution was widely accepted.
