    was a french solider best known as commander of north america during the seven years war. in 1756 king louis xv sent him to new france to lead its defence during the seven years war. Montcalm met with notable successes in 1756, 1757 and 1758 but the british had a large number of troops against New France led to military setbacks in 1758 and 1759 which montcalm died in the plains of abraham. which feb 28 1712 is when he was born and died in 1759 sept 14.

    George Washington led a force into the Ohio River Valley. He was defeated. The next year, he tried again with a bigger force. He was defeated again.

    Governer Lawrence gave and order to remove all Acadians from their homes and out of the country. The reason for this was when British troops captured Fort Beausejour, they found 300 armed Acadians. He thoght all Acadians were disloyal.

    louisbourg has been captured first, right before quebec. it guarded the st.lawrence river ,which led to the quebec colony. they cut off town from the landward side .

    it happened in at the plains of abraham their was a suprise attack from the french. after a hour of the war wolf was wounded early in the battle , after his third wound he had died from going out of the fortress. quebec had surrendered montreal and the rest of canada.

    Was and attempt turn Quebec into a colony, but it failed. The Canadiens, had developed such a strong identity that they could not be made British. The British did not want trouble in Quebec, they needed to keep the colony loyal. the best way was to reconize the Canadiens' rights that had been taken away by the Proclamation.
