    He became president becasue as a VP the president died so he now became president
  • W.E.B. DuBois established the Niagara Movement

    This was a movement to stop segregation in America.
  • Publication of the Jungle by Upton Sinclair

    This book was about the bad things that could happen in meat packaging factories and how nothing was good at all. He was also a Muckraker
  • Passage of the Meat inspection Act

    This made inspection of meat happen much more because so many people died in those years from food poisoning

    These people where made to make sure that foods that were being made were made out of what they are said they are made out of so that they can’t add something that is cheaper but no one would know.
