    The Coming Of The War

    This was a period of time where a lot of war broke out. Many people died, mainly Jews, and Philippinos.
  • Japanese invasion Of Manchuria

    The eastern parts of Manchuria and most of the Korean Peninsula were already under the control of the Japanese empire since the First Sino-Japanese War of 1895. Japan's ongoing industrialization and militarization ensured their growing dependence on oil and metal imports from the US.
  • The Bonus Army

    (The summer of 1932) The Bonus Army were 43,000 World War I veterans, their families, and affiliated groups, who gathered in Washington, D.C. in the summer of 1932 to demand cash-payment redemption of their service certificates. Many of the war veterans had been out of work since the beginning of the Great Depression.
  • German-Polish Non-Aggression Pact

    Germany and Poland signed this Pact. This made both countries pledged to resolve their problems by bilateral negotiations and to forgo armed conflict for a period of ten years.
  • Neutrality Act of 1935

    The Neutrality Acts was passed by the United States Congress in the 1930s, because of the growing turmoil in Europe and Asia that eventually led to World War II. The US wanted to stay isolationist following its costly involvement in World War I, and sought to ensure that the US would not be part of foreign conflicts.
  • Hitler Youth

    This was a group created by hitler with males ages 10-18. He called this his "Hitler Youth, League of German Worker Youth".
  • Munich Agreement

    This agreement was signed by Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy. A Munich Agreement between France and Nazi Germany, that France would not provide military assistance to Czechoslovakia in the upcoming German occupation of "Sudetenland".
  • Sudetenland Invaded

    This place was assigned to Germany between Oct. 1 and Oct. 10 of 1938. The Czech part of Czechoslovakia was subsequently invaded by Germany in March 1939, with a portion being annexed and the remainder turned into the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
  • Germany Invades Poland

    This was the start of World War II. The German invasion began on September 1, 1939, one week after the signing of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact between Germany and the Soviet Union. The campaign ended on October 6, with Germany and the Soviet Union dividing and annexing the whole of Poland.
  • Lend-Lease Act

    The Lend-Lease Act was the principal means for providing U.S. military aid to foreign nations during World War II. "vital to the defense of the United States."
  • The Attack Of Pearl Harbor

    The Attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor. The attack led to the United States formal entry into World War II.
