In 1921 Cesar Sandino tried to kill Dagoberto Rivas because the man made fun of Cesar’s mother. After threat to go prison he fled to places like Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.

In 1926-1927 US troops invade Nicaragua. Cesar makes an army of miners. They help fight the US troops.

Lots of general in Nicaragua surrender but Cesar does not. Luckily Cesar escaped from an ambush on May 12 1927. He took off again.

May 18 1927 Cesar’s life changes. Cesar marry a woman named Blanca Arauz. Blanca stayed with him.

Blanca Arauz goes to jail by Jose Moncada for being with Cesar Sandino in 1931. Moncada is a man whose does not like Cesar. He is furious.

1933 Cesar has a kid and Blanca Arauz dies. A year later Cesar Sandino finally wins the war. He is proud.

Cesar died on Febuary 21 1934. Many people were upset. He was a South American hero.
