The Nazis decided to do the Beer Hall Putsch which was an attempt at seizing the German government by force. The uprising was shut down which lead to the arrest of Hitler. In his nine months in jail, he wrote his famous book Mein Kampf, which detailed his plans for Germany. -
Germany Joins League of Nations
Germany wanted to be recognized and wanted to show they that had changed. Germany joined as a permanent of the League of Nations, a political move that displayed their power. -
The Great Depression
Germany was doing terribly financially and spiraled into a financial depression. They were desperate for an authoritative leader to guide them out of it and would accept anyone who was willing to do it. -
Stock Market Crash
The United States stock market crashed after 16 million stocks were shared in one day. The aftermath was the United States stock market crashing, affecting the rest of the world as well. -
Hitler Becomes Chancellor
Hitler had more power and changed Germany to have a fascist government. He also worked on increasing their security which was made up of Nazis, and worked on building up their army. -

When Germany's leader Von Hindenburg died, Hitler took over his place. This gave him a lot more power and he became the dictator of Germany. -
Japan-China Conflict
An incident involving the border caused a war between them. Japan took over many cities and killed thousands of citizens. This gained Japan land and power. -
Appeasement
The Prime Minister of Britain, Neville Chamberlain appeased to Germany. Hitler only took this as a sign that he had gained control over yet another country.
