#1 Reason- Slavery

Apr 30, 1619

The main event in the Civil War was slavery. The South wanted to have laborers so they could have other people pick crops faster than they could on their own.

Abraham Lincoln was voted president.

Abraham Lincoln wanted to be president, because he believed in the people agreeing with him, he knew what the people had wanted because he listened, he was also against slavery though, too.

President Abraham Lincoln Won the Presidential Election of 1859

The election caused huge debates because some of the people did not agree on the things that Lincoln was trying to do for the United States. He wanted Free and Equal rights, and no slavery.

The Civil War Begins.

The Civil War began all because of revolts against slavery and taxation, and fueds that angered many of the citizens of the United States.
