Americans had to trade their goods in what they had to exchange for goods. Triangle trade, were teamed up with the british policy of Mercantilism because they provide '' Favorable balace of trade " but only to the Great Britain.

Anything that was exported as in manufactured goods had to import in a British owned boat . The were trying to make it seem like they are doing it for our own good but actually the british is only doing it get more money to provide for them.
