Elizabeth was an important person in Catherines life. they shared a close relation ship with each other and Elizabeth helped to teach Catherine how to rule Russia. Death of peter III
Peter III Died in prison during June of 1762. He was a arrested by one of catherines lovers and put in jail. he was supposedly murdered in jail by some of the guards who were loyal to Catherine. Peters death is a key event during Catherines life because it cleared the way to the throne. With peter out of the way Catherine was able to be the sole ruler of Russia. ( Seven soveirgn queens) -

Catherine the Great was officialy crowned in the cathedral of the annuciation in Moscow. Catherine was crowned after the death of her husband Peter III. This event is important beacause with her husband dead she would be able to rule the country by herself. (Seven Sovern queens) -

the tea party involved about 70 colonists dressed as indians dumping about 350 chests of tea into the sea. this protest was caused by the colonists being taxed a large amount of money by the british.
