He tells his dad that he wants to be a shepherd and take care of sheep. He wants to be able to travel around so his dad gives him some money to be the sheep he wants. -
Santiago has a strange dream.
He dreams that this little boy showed him the Pyramids and tells him that his treasure is there. -
Santiago goes to a dream reader
She tells him that if he had this dream twice already he should go and find this treasure and give her one tenth of whatever it is. -
Santiago meets a king.
The king tells him that he should go on and find his treasure. That he should follow his personal legend. Santiago said alright and the king gave him directions. Santiago gave the king his flock in order to get the directions. The king gave him omens to lead him in the right direction -
Santiago goes to Africa.
He gets all ready to go to his destination. In order to get to the Pyramids he needs to get through Africa and cross the desert. -
Meets someone that wants to help find the Pyramids.
The man that he met at the bar said he wanted to help him buy camel and cross the desert plus guide him so he would get to the Pyramids. The guy left Santiago at the market place and stoled his money. So the guy robed him and he spent the night at the market place. -

Santiago Meets a Crystal Merchant and worked for him.
He asks the merchant if he would give Santiago a job because he wanted money to get his sheep back and go back to his town. He worked with the merchant for a year and when he had enough money he said he was leaving to buy his sheep and go back home. But the merchant got him confused and he decided that he should move on and go find his treasure that this was an one and only oportunity. He could go back to being a shepherd when ever he wanted too, -
Santiago Meets an Englishman
Santiago tells the Englishman that he had a dream and that he wanted to go find his treasure, Santiago also told the Englishman that he was a shepherd and that he talk to the dream reader and the king. The englishman told santiago that the same thing happened to him, so they both decided to go to the Pyramids. -
Santiago goes to the Oasis.
When santiago is at the Oasis with the Englishman and the camel driver, and many other people that wanted to cross the desert, they wanted to find the Alchemist. On their way to the Oasis they were talking about how the Alchemist are powerful and can do many things. -
Santiago falls in love with Fatima
While Santiago is looking for the Alchemist he find himself with Fatima. When he sees her he feels something stranage for her and they start talking. The next day Santiago went to look for her and told her what he left for her.He said he didn't want to go find his treasure because he already found his treasure and it was her. But she told him to go find it that she can wait. -
Santiago meets the Alchemist
Santiago finds himself talking to a man and he didn't realize till the end that he had been talking to the Alchemist. Then later the alchemist told him never to give up and to keep looking for his treasure so the alchemist convinced him to keep on finding his treasure and he helped santiago -
Santiago goes for his treasure
Now that Santiago listened to the alchemist he went on and left with the alchemist. The Alchemist guided him through the desert and santiago learned a lot of stuff about Alchemists. -
He found his treasure at last
He got to the Pyramids and cried because he was happy that he went through all the hard things to get to where he needed to. Now he wanted to go back to the Oasis and find Fatima.
