    Nils Bohlin Patented his idea of a new safety belt design. This was way safer than the belts that only went across your lap. This type of seat belt quickly became a standard across the world.

    GPS was fully operational by 1995. the use of GPS for Commercial aircraft was allowed by 1983.

    The Prius Hybrid was the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle. This vehicle was very popular in Japan and in the USA. It's a low emission vehicle so it is safe for the environment.
