One of the causes that led to World War One was the Archduke Franz Ferdinand shot. This cause was more like the straw on the camels back. More important causes were alliances, nationalism, imperialism, and, militarism. These events were much more significant and played a huge role of causing world war one. The continuity of this event was that women were still not considered persons. They also were not able to work at certain jobs and when they did work they had less wages and were expected to stay home. The change in this event is that women gained the right to vote and began protesting for more equality.

This event was historically signifcant because when Cnada captured Vimy Ridge it gave Canada a sense of becoming a nation. When Canada captured Vimy Ridge, many countries saw Canada as a powerful nation. It was after Canada captured Vimy Ridge when Canada joined the League of Nations. Other countries began to fear Canada's strength after this battle, it placed Canada on a higher level of power. The victory of Vimy Ridge was the beginning of Canada becoming more independent.

The casues that led to this event was the colliding of the S.S. Mont-Blanc, a french ship with the Norwegian vessel SS. They were both loaded with explosives and war equipment.

The change in this event is that Canada became much more independent. Canada became full and equal to other countries. The continuity was that Canada was still mainly controlled by the British. Canada still had to do as the British say or wanted.

The continuity in this event is that many immigrants especially Asians were discriminated against. They were also being imprisoned for no reason. The change is that Japanese were being discriminated against much more.

A cause that led to this event was the Consription Crisis. The French-Canadians wanted seperation because the government was not giving the French the same rights as the English.

The continuity in this event is that immigrants were still being disriminated against. The cahange is that immigrants began to feel a more welcome feeeling to Canada and began gaining more rights and equality.
