Britain joined the battle against Germany. If they hadn't done this Germany would've had a better chance of winning and possibly conquering the world.

During World War 2 before the USA joined the battle it began to look like Nazi Germany may possibly win the War, they had conquered Everything but Britain. Several Britain wanted to make a deal with Nazi Germany but the leader of Britain, Winston Churchill wouldn't allow that, if it wasn't for Britain the Germans may have won the war.
