    Bobbys first year in law school was in 1993. His first year in law school he had trouble reading the board. He was diagnosed with proliferative diabetic rethinopathy, and he was blind in a month. He decided to get lazar surgery to help his vision. Lazar surgery saved him in his left eye and his right eye he is totally blind!     His surgery was successful! :) Boby returned to skiing and he returned to the kind of life he had enjoyed before he was a diabetic.

    Bobby was skiing and training full-time when the occored. In 2001 Bobby was back on dyalisis.

    This race was very long and hard. It was 3,000 miles long! he never gave up though. He tryed his hardest and he made through. he knew that it was a good cause so he knew he had to fight for this, if he really wanted it! He was riding for Team Donate Life. this team was to raise money for transplant surgery. He had been through this process so he knows what it is like! He doesnt want other people to expirence what he had to expirience.
