Bob Fosse seemed to rule 1973. He won several awards in this year for his most recent works in 1972 . He was awareded a Tony for Pippin,an Oscar for "best director" for his work in Cabaret
and a Primetime Emmy for the tv speical "Liza with a Z".
Fosse is the only director to have won all 3 major industry awards in the time frame of just one year!! -
