    He was buying drinks and candies when he had an altercation with George Zimmerman. He was only seventeen when he got shot. George Zimmerman was declared not guilty after the trial.
    When he was condemned, later, It was at the origin of Black Lives matter movement. It started on facebook.

    Eric garner was suffocated
    He was arrested because he was suspected of selling illegal cigarette packs. The policeman suffocated him while arresting him. Eric said “I Can't breathe”.
    Knowing that a black man was killed again and it added fuel to the fire, giving even more "power" and legitimacy to the existence of the movement. This then launches demonstrations in order to change the "world". It also allowed the introduction of a phrase "I can't breathe" which will be like a rallying cry.

    John Crawford was holding a BB gun (fake gun that fires plastic bullets, used in a sport)in a shop. Someone called the police saying that he pointed the gun at people. Two policemen arrived: David Darkow and Sean Williams.The latter shot John Crawford twice and he died from his wounds later at the hospital.
    Alicia Reece, Ohio State Representative proposed the “John Crawford’s law” for BB guns to be distinguishable from real ones and avoid this kind of accident.

    Wilson saw Brown and Johnson walking down the street, and he asked them to step onto the sidewalk, then stopped his car in front of them to confront them. Brown and Johnson tried to run away, but the police officer chased them. The officer fired 12 shots, six of them hit Brown.
    The teenager's death sparked tensions between Ferguson's predominantly black population and the police, who are predominantly white.
    Patrisse Cullor organised the black live matters ride (600 people).

    After Rice's death, protests and public outcries erupted in Cleveland.

    Castile was in a car and was subject to a traffic stop. Castile told the officer that he had a gun. Yanez, the police officer, then fired seven shots in front of his 4-year-old daughter who was in the car. After Castile's death, protesters gathered outside the Minnesota Governor's Residence, repeating Castile's name and wanting the Governor to make a statement.

    Death of Breonna Taylor, black woman of 26 years old
    Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old African-American paramedic, was shot and killed by Louisville, Kentucky police officers in the night of March 12-13, 2020.
    With his death, the slogan #Sayhername appeared. This phrase invites black women who are victims of police violence to come forward. In addition, the non-prosecution of the police officer guilty of the murder made the demonstrators "roar" with indignation.

    George Floyd, died while being arrested by a police officer. The policeman suffocated him, GF said "i can't breathe."
    The death of George Floyd and the phrase "I Can't breathe" had the impact of a new rallying cry for blacks, like Eric Garner, who died in a similar way saying the same phrase. This led to new large demonstrations, because for the blacks, it showed that the situation is not at all evolved but that it is necessary to persevere.

    The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to "the individual or community who has done most or best to bring peoples closer together, to abolish or reduce standing armies, to unite and spread progress for peace". The fact that the BLM movement has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize shows that this movement can be considered very important, and that it can change and advance the "world".
