Rising Action
Nate is at his timberscouts meeting and the troop leader announces that there is a new scout joining, the new scout is Artur who is Nate's arch enemy. Nate hates artur because he is better than him and doesn't want him to sell more wall-hangings than him because then he won't win the skateboard. -
Exposition
Nate is selling wall hangings for the timberscuots so he can get a new scatedboard. -
Rising Action
Nate goes to the school musical to watch and then he sees Artur selling wall hangings and Nate asks him how many he sold so far. Then Artur has 25 more wall hangings sold -
Rising Action
Nate comes up with the brillient idea of buying the wall hangings himself. So he starts to make money to buy wall hangings. Nate posts up fliers saying he does any kind of service they want. Now Nate is doing all sorts of jobs for people like walking the dog, gardenwork, baby sitting, so on. -
Climax
Nate has done as much as he could to sell and buy wall hangings and its time for revealing of the winner. The scout leader anounces that there is a tie. And that there will be a coin toss to determine if Nate or Artur will win the scateboard. As the coin is tossed Nate shouts heads. The coin lands and Nate wins the the skate board. -
Falling Actionj
First the troop leader gives Artur the second place prize. Then he gives Nate his scateboard. After Nate is rewarded his scate board Artur comes over and says "You are deserve the grand prize." And they shake hands. -
Reselution
Nate and Artur settle thier differences and Nate gets the scateboard he worked hard for. -
Indirect characterization
- Are they really deciding the winner by coin toss. Hum I wonder who's going to win me or the kid that always does better than me.
- By the way I am not in Detension because I made vulgar nioses during Mary Ellen Popowski's flute performance. That was last week and it wasn't even on purpose.
