    The terrorist attack on the world trade center was a tragedy to the people of America. It all happened because of how little security there was at airports. The terrorists attacked by sneaking aboard a plane in Washington D.C. and knocked out the pilot and then they flew the plane strait into the twin towers. After the attack, the security got strict and they took a long time to clean the mess up but now it is all cleaned up and memorialized.

    In the year of 2002 President Gorge W. Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act. The Act states that all children must be educated. He said this in a speech that day: “ Some say it is unfair to hold disadvantaged children to rigorous standards. I say it is discrimination to require anything less. It is the soft bigotry of low expectations.” From then on, all children were taught.

    February 1, 2003 was a tragic day for many people. Seven crew members of the Columbia Space Shuttle died. The flight was all going well and everything was on track until it got bad, there was an explosion and the crew died. The debris of the space shuttle spread from parts of Texas to some of Louisiana.

It is the largest Dwarf planet recorded in history, the biggest of the smallest. Pictures of it were taken in 2003 but they thought it was just a small star.

    A big tragedy in Japan can be very triggering. In 2007 a earthquake hit Japan and damaged a nuclear power plant. The power plant had 300 gallons of water and it a spilled and released the radioactive water. It took years to clean up.

    The crowd is cheering and the fans are ready; it is the Olympics. The Olympics of 2012 were for sure the best Olympics yet; USA had the highest amount of medals. But sadly, it had to end on August 12. I hope the next summer Olympics in four years is even better.
