Saul crowned king

1050 BCE

Samuel crowned Saul king over all Israel. Saul wasn't thrilled with this idea, so he didn't go into ruling right away. The people of Israel wanted a king and God was getting tired of them complaining.

David plays for saul

1040 BCE

Saul was a mad man, he was very restless and mad. Satan was messing with him and making him misearable so the men of Saul sent for David. David was an excellent harp player, so he went to the king to play some music. The music he played calmed sauls heart and filled him with peace.

David and Goliath

1025 BCE

The philistines were coming to attack and the Israelites got word that there was a giant named Goliath on there side. When the men of isreal went out to fight they ran back in fear because of the giant. Goliath called for a brave man to come and fight him. David knew that he would be able to do it because God was on his side. David defeated goliath in one swing of his slingshot and isreal won.

Sauls hatred against David

1024 BCE

After David defeated goliath he began going to war. When he came back people were sing and praising David because he had killed more men than Saul did. Saul became very jealous and hated David., and even tried to kill him at some points

David escapes to Samuel

1021 BCE

once David realized that Saul hated him Jonathan Saul's son/David's best friend told him to flee. David does and goes to the prophet Samuel.

David in cave of Adullam

Period: 1018 BCE to 1018 BCE

while David is running for his life he goes to the cave of Adullam. While he is there his family and friends join him and he becomes Capitan over an army of about 400 men.

David goes to the wilderness of Paran

Period: 1015 BCE to 1015 BCE

After david spares sauls life he hears of samuels death and goes to the wilderness of paran. David was very sad when he found out because samuel was his earthly moral support over the years.

David spares saul's life a second time

Period: 1014 BCE to 1014 BCE

David spares sauls life in the wilderness of Ziph. At night david and abishai enter sauls camp, abishai wants to kill him but david doesn't. Instead he takes sauls spear and his water jug.

David king over united israel

Period: 1003 BCE to 1003 BCE

After sauls death david becomes king over all Judah.

David's adultery with Bathsheba

Period: 992 BCE to 992 BCE

David sees a woman bathing on a house roof not to far from his kingdom, he watches her and then becomes jealous, wants to meet her. He kills her husband and then takes her in as his wife.

David's first child dies

Period: 991 BCE to 991 BCE

When he committed adultery with Bathsheba she became pregnant and gave birth to a boy. God told David that because of the sin he committed his first son that would come out of that would die, and it did.

David Rebuked by Nathan

Period: 991 BCE to 991 BCE

Nathan the prophet came to king David and told him a story, the story was a little twisted but it was about king David and the sin he committed.

Absalom reconciled to David

Period: 982 BCE to 982 BCE

Absalom returns from exile but doesn't see the face of the king for 2 years. He tries to gain a hearing but Joab turns away until Absalom has Joab's fields set on fire. Absalom finally sees his father who kisses and forgives.

David flees from Jerusalem

Period: 978 BCE to 978 BCE

David's son Absalom wants to become king and gets people on his side. When David heard about this he flees with his servants. Like Christ, David goes to the mount of Olives and starts weeping while Absalom is coming into the city.

David Numbers Israel

Period: 974 BCE to 974 BCE

David has a census over Israel and Judah to count all his people. God didn't approve of the plain bc he didn't specifically ask for David to do this.

Rehoboam

Period: 972 BCE to 931 BCE

He was the son of Solomon and Naamah, and was king at the age of 41. He rejects the demands for relief from the northern tribe.

Rebellion of Adonijah

Period: 971 BCE to 971 BCE

He seeks to take the kingdom of his half brother. David hated this and told the people to crown David's son Solomon as king.

Solomon crowned king

Period: 970 BCE to 931 BCE

Even before David dies he crowns his son Solomon as king

Davids death

Period: 970 BCE to 970 BCE

David was very old and needed to Go, he was avery important man and reined for 40 years

Hiram helps Solomon

Hiram heard that Solomon was building the temple so he went to help assist him. The two kings make a treaty of peace and Solomon gives food to Hiram.

Solomon asks for wisdom

The queen of sheba

Period: 967 BCE to 967 BCE

The queen of Sheba heard rumors that there was a man named Solomon who was the most wisest king of all time and he had everything you could ever want. She thought up some very hard questions and went to the king. When she saw him and all his riches she asked him her questions and he answered them without a ponder. And she gave him gold, preciouses rocks, and spices.

Solomon's fall and death

Period: 941 BCE to 931 BCE

As time went on Solomon became proud and started worshiping other gods. The one true God became worthless to him and he became a very sinfully man and as he got older he became weak and died.

Rehoboam forsakes righteousness

928 BCE

Rehoboam reigns for 17 years, in Jerusalem during the time Judah did evil in the sight of the Lord.

the splitting of the 2 kingdoms

925 BCE

"After King Solomon's death in around 930 B.C., the kingdom split into a northern kingdom, which retained the name Israel, and a southern kingdom called Judah, named after the tribe of Judah that dominated the new kingdom"

Jeroboam and the two calfs

923 BCE

he makes two golden calf's and places one in the south and the other in the north so that you wouldn't have to travel far to worship one

Abijah/Abijam

913 BCE

Abijah/Abijah goes to war with jeroboam and starts to boast that they have the temple of God and the priest so they are gonna win. He reigned for only 3 years.

Asa's reign

912 BCE

Reigned over Judah for 41 years. His mother was Maacah and he was a very good king. He destroyed the idles and took down all the evil doings. He died by a disease in his feet.

Asa destroys kingdom

910 BCE

Asa goes up against his grandma and destroys her palace because of all the idles she was worshiping.

Nadab

909 BCE

Nadab son of jeroboam reigned in Israel for 2 years he did evil in the sight of the lord by taking after his father. His life ended by being killed by Baasha.

Baasha

886 BCE

Is a very wicked king who reigned for 24 years. Jeru said his house was gonna be destroyed because of his idolatry.

Zimri

886 BCE

He was the guy who killed Elah, and he was the commander. He only reigned for 7 day and killed himself by burning the palace on top of himself. Zimri was a very evil king.

Omri

886 BCE

It says that he did evil in the sight of the lord and was the worst king yet. Omri did evil and walked in the way of jeroboam and reigned for 11 years.

Elah

885 BCE

Reigned for 2 years and was 26 when he began to reign. He was killed by Zimri who was his commander. He is the son of Baasha and was the 4th king over Israel. He was a bad king, he worshiped idols and was unfaithfully to God.

Elijah

879 BCE

God provided for Elijah at the brook of cherith. Ravens bring him bread and the brook provided water.

Asa and his sickness

872 BCE

Asa the 3rd king of Judah developed some sort of disease in hi feet.

Elijah at the widow

862 BCE

The brook of Cherith dries up and so God tells him to go to a widow and ask for food. He goes to her and she gives him water but didn't have enough food left to give to him. Elijah tells her to still bake him a cake and that she would have enough food for the rest of the famine

Ahab

853 BCE

Ahab becomes king after Omri and reigned for 23 years. He was a very evil king and was recorded to be the worse king ever. He was even worse than his father, he married Jezebel. Jezebel was the most deadlest queen and he name means "married to baal".

Jehoram

845 BCE

He reigned for 12 years Jehoram asked for water and God gives them water. They thought that the water was blood so they thought the arm had died. They went into the camp and the arm surprised them and killed them.

Ahaziah

841 BCE

He reigned for 2 years, falls through a lattes and gets sick and then goes to a prophet .

Elijah and Elisha

836 BCE

It was time for Elijah to leave but Elisha didn't want him to. God was gonna take Elijah up in a fiery chariot and the only way that Elisha could be just as powerful as Elijah is if he saw how Elijah left. So Elisha wouldn't leave Elijah's side.

Elisha and his miracles

His first miracle he turns bad water into good, clean, holy water, his second miracle is a couple a teen boys mock his bold head and so Elisha curses them and two bears come out and kill 40 or more of them.

Jehu

Commander of Jehoram's army becomes king of Israel. He shoots Jehoram and Ahaziah. Jehu goes to jezebel and commands her servants to throw her out her window. They do and she dies, Jehu runs over her with his chariots.

Jehu reigns

Jehu kills all the worshipers of baal, and burns the temple of baal down .

Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign after king Joash, he reigned 17 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the lord and followed in the sins of Jeroboam. He went to war against king hazel many times. Once he died he was buried with his fathers.

Queen Athaliah

819 BCE

Some men hide the kings son for 6 years, then the men brought him out from hiding and crowned him king, athaliah got really made and the guards take Athaliah behind the temple and kill her. She was the daughter of Jezebel and Ahab and she reigned for 6 years.

Joash

816 BCE

Joash reigns for 40 years after Athaliah, he wants to restore the temple and wants to worship God again. After a couple years Joash started worshiping idles, Zachariah tells Joash that he will be judged for sinning against God. Joash kills his son/Zachariah but right before he dies he puts a curse on his father. The princes of the city of David assonated Joash on his bed and Amaziah his son became king.

Jehoash

816 BCE

Jehoash reigned for 16 years, he also did what was evil in the sight of the lord. He made Israel sin in the sight of the Lord with him. Jehoash went to Elisha and asked if he will win against the Syrians, Elisha and Jehoash shot an arrow out the window and then he told Jehoash to hit the ground when he did Elisha hot made at him and he said that he would only win 3 and then the Syrians would defeated them. When he died he was buried with his fathers.

Amaziah

814 BCE

Amaziah Became king at the age of 25, he reigned 29 years in over Judah. He did what was right in the sight of the Lord yet not like David his father. He did right what joash his father had done. He struck down ten thousand Edomites in the valley of salt.

Zechariah

813 BCE

Zech reigns over Israel in Samaria for six months and did what was evil in the sight of the lord. Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him and struck him down.

Jeroboam II

813 BCE

Jeroboam became king over Israel and began to reign in Samaria, he reigned for 41 years and did what was evil in the sight of the lord. He never departed from his sins and made Israel do evil too.

Shallum

812 BCE

Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign over Israel for 1 month, and he did what was evil in the sight of the lord. Then a man named Menahem came to Samaria and struck down Shallum.

Menahem

812 BCE

Menahen son of Gadi began to reign over Israel and did evil in the sight of the lord. He reigned for 10 years in Samaria. He cut open pregnant lady's stomach to threaten the city's. A guy named Pul came against Israel and Menahem gave him a thousand talents of silver. When he died he slept with his fathers and Pekahiah his son reigned in his place.

Hezekiah and Babylon

812 BCE

A king comes to Hezekiah and he shows' him around the kingdom, God was not happy about that and says that Hezekiah and all his sons will be concord.

Pekahiah

807 BCE

Pekahiah took after his father and reigned for 2 years, and he did what was evil in the sight of the lord. Pekah son of Remaliah came against Pekahiah and struck down Samaria.

Pekah

802 BCE

Pekah reigned over Israel for 20 years and he did what was evil in the sight of the lord.

Hoshea

795 BCE

Hoshea became king over Israel and he reigned for 9 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the lord, Shalmaneser the king of Assyria came and concord Samaria.

Fall of Israel

795 BCE

The king of Assyria came to Israel and concord them and torchored them for many years.

Uzziah

786 BCE

Reigned for 52 years and he did what was right in the sight of the lord. Uzziah loved the soil so he had a ton of farmers and harvesters to be outside making the land better. He made Judah strong and very wealthy, he became strong and very powerful. He was so strong he became very proud, he went to the temple and offers an offering to God, but men came after him to stop him. Uzziah got mad at the men and God struck him with leaporsy, and Uzziah never healed until he died.

Jotham

751 BCE

Jotham was 25 years old when he began to reign, he ruled over Jerusalem for 16 years. He did what was right in the sight of the lord. He built city's in the country of Judah and fixed up many walls. He became very might because he he ordered his ways before the lord his God. When he died he was buried in the city of David, and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.

Ahaz

735 BCE

He was 20 years old when he became king, and he reigned for 16 years. Sadly he did what was evil in the sight of the lord, he even made metal images of baal. He offered sacrifices under every green tree in Judah. The nation of Syria comes to war against him, Ahaz send a letter to Assyria to come help Concore them. Nothing good is said about him.

Hezekiah

728 BCE

Hezekiah was 25 when he started to reign and he reigned for 29 years. He did what was right in the sight of the lord. Unlike his father, He destroyed all idles and false gods.

Hezekiah's Passover

727 BCE

They end up pushing the Passover back because they were not ready for it, and the temple was not finished.

Hezekiah and the Assyrians

717 BCE

Assyrian king comes to invade Judah, he sends a messenger to the wall to talk to the people of Judah. The messenger says that they will either die or surrender. Assyrian king sends a letter to Hezekiah, Hezekiah prays and the angle of the lord comes to the Assyrians and kills over half of the army.

Hezekiahs sickness

714 BCE

Isaiah comes to Hezekiah and says that he is gonna die, Hezekiah prays to God and asked why? God changes his mind and lets him live for 15 more years and he gives Hezekiah an option. If he would like the sun to move backwards or forwards, and Hezekiah choses the sun to move back 10 hr.

Manasseh reign in Judah

707 BCE

He was 12 when he began to reign and he reigned 55 years which was the longest reign ever in Jerusalem. he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He rebuilt the alters of baal and he also rebuilt everything his father had destroyed. Manasseh was the worst king ever recorded in Jerusalem . When he got captured by the Assyrians they sold him to Babylon and he repented to God! He ends up getting realized and when he returns to Judah he tares down all the idles and rebuilds Gods temple.

Amon

Amon was 22 years old and he did what was evil in the sight of the lord, he does what his father Manasseh did. And he only reigned for 2 years and was associated by his servants

Josiah

698 BCE

Reigned for 31 years and was age 8 when he started, he was the best king ever and did Good in the sight of the lord, he Loved God with all his heart. In his eight year of reign he destroys all evil in the land and in the eighteenth year he repairs the house of the lord. During his reign he/servant found the book of law. And he had the largest Passover eve recorded or ever known. They killed so many animals that their blood was like a river through the streets.

Jehoahaz

693 BCE

Jehoahaz king of Judah became king once his father died, he was 23 when he started and he only reigned for 3 months, and he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. The king of Egypt deposed of him and but his brother king over Judah.

Jehoiachin

691 BCE

was 18 when he began to reign, and he reigned 3 months and 10 days in Judah, and he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. In the spring King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came and took Jehoiachin away with him along with some treasures from the house of the Lord. Jehoiachin's son became king next.

Zedekiah

691 BCE

was 21 when he became king and he reigned for 11 years, and he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He turns against the king of Babylon.

Jehoiakim

685 BCE

was 25 when he began to reign and he reigned for 11 years, and sadly he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. The king of Babylon came to him and bound him in chains and took him away, Jehoiakim's son began to reign after him.
