In this part Grendel is in pain because the people in Herot singing about the Gods. Grendel doesn't like it when people sing songs about the Gods. -
Beowulf- main character who kills the monsters and he is known as a hero.
Beowulf hears about Grendel and comes to Herot to kill him -
Beowulf and Grendel dies by Beowulf ripping his arm off.

Grendel's mom- Grendel's mother who is stronger than Grendel
Grendel's mom and Beowulf fights in the water. Beowulf kills her but the water showed blood and his men assumed that Beowulf died. -
After killing Grendel's mother Beowulf was so hyped that he acutally came out of the water and went to Grendel's dead body and cut his head off and brought it back to Herot.

Beowulf becomes king after defeating Grendel's mom and bringing Grendel's head as a trophy.

After 50 years of being king, a dragon comes along and starts destroying the kingdom.

Beowulf still seeks for fame and gives his final boast to his people. He gives his farewell to his men and heads towards the dragon.

Beowulf fights the dragon with Wiglaf after 50 years of being king he is old right now and he fights a dragon as the final battle.

He got killed to death by fighting the dragon. In his ultimate honor the people of Herot burned his ship he was on.
