The Wrath of Grendel
Here during this short story they introduce most of the characters such as Grendel and King Hrothgar. This is the beginning of Grendel getting angry at all the joy they have in Herot before he comes to attack. -
Grendel comes to Herot
Grendel gets upset over all the happiness everyone has. He comes running into the Kingdom and he killed all 30 men that were sleeping in the hallway. "He smashed them unknowingly in their beds and ran out with their bodies"("Grendel comes to Herot"). -
The Coming of Beowulf
Beowulf is the cousin of Higlac and a monster slayer. He comes to Herot to fight Grendel with "no weapons and fears none"("The Coming of Beowulf"). Beowulf and his 14 men make their way through the Monsters Lair. -
The Battle with Grendel
Grendel makes his way to Herot with a goal of attacking each and every person there. Beowulf and Grendels fight was bloody and loud. Beowulf found a way to defeat him and he killed him. Grendel ending up coming to fight because Beowulfs men were making so much noise that it was bothering him. -
Battle with Grendel- 2
Grendels mother now after the death of her loving son terrorizes Herot because he was her only son. She came to Herot and took Grendels arm to fen with her because she has no one. -
The Battle with Grendel's mother
Beowulf comes face to face with Grendel's mother and while he is there she tries to convince him to give her another son. Her only son was Grendel and now that he is dead she wants another one. -
The Farewell
When they had Beowulf's funeral they sailed his body off in the sea.The Geats built Beowulf tower and buried all the treasure that he had gained form killing the dragon. -
The Monsters Lair
beowulf goes down into Grendel's mother lair and they come to figure out that no weapons work on her in order to kill her. -
The Last Battle
When Beowulf is now an old man he thinks he can just fight the dragon. He then goes out with his men to slay the dragon who guard the towers. He fights the dragon that comes to his kingdom to fight him. Then beowulf dies -
The Spoils
Beowulfs men have a memorial for him. Beowulf gets wounded in his battle and ends up dying from and tells wiglof to go to the tower and bring its treasure. Then He cut out the dragons heart. wiglof went to the tower and brought back some of the treasure to his king
