Mr. Benjamin Button was born at the age of 70. It was a very rare baby because the Button couple thought it was going to be a regular new born baby. Mr. Button was surprised when he said, "Where in god's name did you come from?" (63) He was the complete opposite of a baby. -
Button to Kindergarden
Benjamin goes to kindergarden and tries to fit in but soon after he starts, the teacher complains and he has to leave. The Button's excuse was, "He was too young." -
Button to Yale
Benjamin tries to go to Yale college when he is eighteen, but he doesn't have any die to die his hair. When e gets there the man is surprised and sends Benjamin off and soon after he was followed to the train station bye students. Once he gets on the train he says to them, "You'll regret this!" -
Button Goes to Work
When he turned twenty, Benjamin went to work for his father at Roger Button & Co., Wholesale Hardware. In this year he also started," going out socially." -
Benjamin Gets Married
At the age of twenty Benjamin decides to get engaged to Hildegarde Moncrief. When it came to Moncrief everyone said, " It was criminal for a lovely girl to throw her arms into a man of assuredly fifty." -
Benjamin at Work
Benjamin and his Dad's business was thriving. He doubled the family fortune. It says the business was, "Prospering amazingly!" -
New Owner of the Company
The company was passed to, "A man apparently twenty years old." He was enrolled at Harvard and was given the company from Benjamin. His name is Roscoe, Benjamin's son. -
Benjamin's a Grandfather
Roscoe has his first son. The, " little grubby boy, apparently about ten years of age, who played the house with lead soldiers and a miniature circus, was the new baby's grandfather."
