Kyle is moved to a new house with his dad's maid, magda. His dad stays at their old apartment, and never visits, because he doesn't want his son to be seen because he's too "ugly". A blind tutor comes, and teached Kyle how to plant roses, and read hard books. He decides to change his name to Adrian, and is given a mirror to look at anyone, from kendra the witch. -
Part 3-4: Pages 135-201
Adrian's. brings Lindy to stay with him, when her father was trying to break in Adrian's house. Lindy is provided with the nicest rooms, flowers, clothes, and doesn't appreciate anything, because she feels trapped. When she finally sees what a beast he is, she gets to know him better. They start to do their studies together, andget closer than ever, -
Part 4: Chapters 1-4. pages 201-235
Adrian takes Lindy, magda, and Will to a winter home in the mountains, considering Lindy has never seen REAL country snow. -
Chapter 4-6. page: 235-254
While staying at the winter home, Lindy and Adrian found a sled, made snowmen, and snuggled by the warm fire. He showed her the magic mirror, and she saw that her dad wasn't doing well, so she went back to take care of him, and Adrian stayed at his house the rest of the winter. -
Chapters 6-8. Pages: 254-275
Adrian waited for Lindy to come back in the spring, but she never did. He went back to his house in Brooklyne with Will and Magda. He watched Lindy on the mirror and noticed she was being held captive by a scary man, so he ran in his "beatness" to where she was. She kissed him when he was shot, and he turned back to Kyle. Lindy was confused, but soon recognized his voice. -

Lindy went to live with Adrian in his city home, and so did Will. He was given his sight back, and was a new teacher at Tuttle, where both kids returned. Magda was really kendra, who was punished for using magic when she wasn't supposed to,
