Fort Sumter is located on South Carolina. These day the Union was trying to protect Fort Sumter but the Confederates were trying to take them down. Many fires was shot within th 2 days they were battling. Shots were fired from ships and some were fired inside of Fort Sumter. Not many people died in this battle. When the battle was over, repairs begin to be made. Commander Anderson surrendered and let the confederates win the battle.This battle really started the Civil War.

As the battle was going on the Confederates brought in more and more people. In the end the Confederates won the battle.
