    This was the first battle of the Civil War. The Union had a hard time defending it because it was in the South. The battle was between the Union and Confederacy. This war lasted less than 2 days. The US Army was made to not use any of their material from Charleston Harbor.
  • First Battle of Bull Run

    First Battle of Bull Run
    This was the first major battle of the Civil War. This started in Virginia. This lasted until 1865. Over 3,000,000 people were fighting in this war. The Union won. The Account of the Confederate Slaughter occured.
  • Battle of Hampton Roads

    This was the first battle between the ironclad warships. This was the most noted naval battle. The out come was inconclusive. This ended March 9, 1862. This battle was in Virginia.
  • Seven Days Battle

    This battle lasted for seven days. It took place in Virginia. Each day there was a battle within this battle. The confederate won. These battles were Battle of Oak Grove
    Battle of Mechanicsville, Battle of Gaines’ Mill, Battle of Garnett & Golding’s Farm, Battle of Savage Station, Battle of Glendale, and the Battle of Malvern Hill.

    This occured in Tennesee. There were battles within this battle as well. These were Battle of Lookout Mountain,
    Battle Above the Clouds, Battle of Missionary Ridge, Cracker Line, and the Siege of Chattanooga. This was an important Union Victory. The "Capture of Atlanta also occured.

    This fight lasted one day. This was the last battle of the Civil War.Casualties was brought into this battle. This was in Rio Grande. Rebels places were attacked. The rebels were not found when the others came back to fight.
